Glasses, in a way, are something unfamiliar to me because I am not nearsighted at all. Therefore I really can’t express exactly what feelings they present. Maybe they’ll make your world clearer than before; maybe they can protect your eyes from dust when it is blowing. maybe they can act as a kind of decoration; maybe…In total, it plays an important part on people who are nearsighted.
As for me, one who isn’t nearsighted, glasses may be more attractive .The first time I got in touch with it was when staying in junior high school. I thought wearing glasses was a miraculous thing and a strong desire has emerged so that I worn glasses of my classmates frequently to experiment this feeling myself. However, what I could see was vague and my head was dizzy when wearing them. That’s the first question I couldn’t understand then. Another is what they feel when entering into a warm space from a relatively cold one. Whenever I saw water vapor on the glasses, I doubted whether they could see something.
After entering into senior high school, with some treason and headstrong personalities, I thought wearing glasses was so cool that others would envy you if you had one pair. Therefore I tried my hardest to persuade mom to buy me a pair so I could flint them before my classmates. How ridiculous I was just at that moment. Unfortunately, I lost them after a few weeks because I didn’t develop a habit of putting glasses away after using them. Although it is a little pity, I have possessed them and that is the point. What’s more, I solved the two questions which had puzzled me for a long time. This is enough.
As time goes on, the interest I show to glasses was declining obviously and mystery disappeared after the two questions had been solved. After that, I paid no attention to eyeglasses for a long time. Suddenly ,I found that glasses was everywhere and a surprising range of students were wearing them whenever and wherever. In addition, people who wear a pair of glasses is considered as a learned and capable one while students whose sight are good are regarded as lazy ones. Sometimes this may make me uncomfortable. In other words, I think good eyesight can’t declare exactly what kinds of person you are. You are a lazy ,not hard-working person? No, that’s not true. Nearsightedness is caused by two reasons I think. Firstly, inheritance plays an important part on the eyesight. In addition, incorrect postures when studying or playing computer can do harm to your sight largely. Therefore, we shouldn’t look down on those who aren’t nearsighted, which may make them uneasy.
In brief, although I’m not a shortsighted one, I have some deep feelings with eyeglasses in daily life. Someone maybe make contact with them when they are young, but they will nervier understand the special feelings such as mystery and curiosity glasses have brought to me and I believe these are great feelings forever.
