My dear glasses,
Now is 10 pm. You have fallen asleep besides me. I write this letter to you to thank you for your help.
When I was a little girl, I used to wear my father’s glasses; it made me look elegant and smart. So I hoped I could have a pair of eyeglasses one day. (more eyeglasses…)
It has been many years since I owed the glasses. About three years ago, when I first stood in front of that Optical shop, I didn’t aware that glasses will keep company with me from now, for I was just slightly short sight at that time. I would never stand here but for my mother’s demand. Consequently I walked into the store reluctantly. When I left, a pair of ordinary eyeglasses had already been in my bag. (more eyeglasses…)
As we all know, the eyes are a window to the heart. They are clear, pretty and precious. However, I got my first prescription glasses in an early age, almost in Grade 5. At that time, there were only three guys wearing glasses in my class. Of course, I am one of the three. From that time on, eyeglasses have been my faithful friend who accompanies me almost every day. Unfortunately, at my fifth grade, I made the acquaintance of glasses. At that time, I felt that a pair of glasses was really “a bad guy”. However, without them could I do anything well?
When I was a child, I had strong interest in all kinds of glasses. While walking on the street, I liked to watch people wearing beautiful eyeglasses. When I was young, my vision was good. Without glasses, I could easily see clearly. However, with using more and more eyes, my eyesight gets weaker.
One of the main reasons is computer. I used to surf the Internet includes sitting behind the computer for a long time, straining my eyes, I experienced that after a certain time the pain in the eyes, head, neck and back begin and are getting very tired . (more eyeglasses…)
Once thinking of glasses, it came to me that a story between it and I could date back to my childhood.
At an early age, which seemed to be in my fourth year at primary school? Because of some complex reasons, which might be my overmatching TV or improper use of eyes, ultimately nearsightedness came to my life. It was such a sudden that I didn’t have time to prepare for it. At that time, to be honest, admitted it was not a good thing at all. My parents always complained with my eyesight:”When I was the same age with you, my eyesight was good. So far, it was still good. How about you? I can expect your eyes to be better. And I can’t imagine how bad your eyes will be?”Every time when I heard this, I was very sad. Not only did the words do harm to me, but the nearsightedness resulted in much inconvenience in my study and my life. As a consequence dreamed to have a pair of glasses to change this, my parents didn’t agree with me. (more eyeglasses…)
As for glasses, I have to regard it as my most loyal friend. It has companied with me more than six years. My glasses, my old friend.
Each time I memorized the situation of the first time I wore eyeglasses ,I had no choice but to shrug my shoulder。I haven’t gone to see doctor until my sight was not quite clear. After that, one and another pair of glasses walk into my life. (more eyeglasses…)
I still remember that when I’m a child, my mum are strict to me for keeping a good sight, once I forget to keep a necessary distance from the book, she will kick my head. So, I didn’t have glasses until three years ago.
I can’t remember the exact date that when I have my first glass, but I can still remind my mind of the white glass. Till now, I have had 5 pair of prescription eyeglasses. I am a girl with a long history of wearing glasses. Glasses have been one of my most necessary friends who never speak. No matter the time we spend together is happy or not, I never forget it.
